The Annual Blackpool Drag attaracted a large crowd of both spectators & trainers yesterday. 22 seniors got this drag underway at 4pm and us spectators were not disappointed at the finish. Two fields out and the call went up which showed the betting favourites 'Magics Choice' in 5th place and 'Not Now Man' leading the pack to the finish. In a nail biting finish, it seemed nothing could catch 'Not Now Man', but just when we thought he'd won, 'Magics Choice' denied him this win at the line where 'Magics Choice' took 1st place by a mere nose. The senior maiden finish was another cracking finish but the winner, Judys Girl, was disqualified and honours were given deservingly to Kay O Driscolls 'Chelsies Girl' of Southern Harriers, followed by Wayward Lad of Mayfield and Big Mac of Kerry pike.
