Glorious sunshine awaited us at Carrignavar where 20 senior hounds lined up to complete this 35minute course. The heat was severe at stages where temperatures reached 23degs. Reports from the roads tells us that the heat didn't affect the hounds until the latter part of the drag. 'Toffee Woman' of Griffin United led one road. John Callaghans 'Is It It' led another with half a field to spare, Pat Harringtons 'McQuade' was seen leading another road. The view from the finish showed 'Is It It' travelling at a good pace to the call. Denise
